Jackson Park is a small playground and BBQ about halfway between Dunalley and Port Arthur. Near shops and a petrol station, it is an ideal small children’s break point with a BBQ and basketball court.

Murdunna derives its name from a local Palawa (Tasmanian Aboriginal) word generally believed to mean “place of the stars”.
Jackson Park is named after a pioneering local family who farmed and settled the Murdunna area in the 19th and early 20th centuries
